Geocache Description:

Four years ago today (July 23, 2012) I found my first geocache.  What better what to commemorate my Cacheversary than with a hide that I have been planning since that very first year?  I have been collecting bird-related swag for years, so the container is chock-full of interesting things to delight any bird-lover.  Bring the kids and good stuff to trade.  The puzzle isn't meant to be too hard.  Have a look at the birds in the gallery and research the most commonly used name of each bird. In most cases this will be one word. Where the most commonly used name has more than one word, I've indicated this in the photo captions.   If you are not familiar with this common method of puzzle-solving (I wasn't until a few months ago!), check the hint for the key to solving.  The FTF may take any one of the swag items without trading. The ticks attribute is used to indicate fire ants - the area is crawling with them in the warmer months.
