Barking Frogz: Unfortunately I haven't heard from the cache owner, so I must regretfully archive this cache.
Thanks, Barking Frogz

We placed this geocache as part of a Boy Scout Troop 319 merit badge in Geocaching. Since we live close to Hamlin park, we thought this would be an ideal location for a geocache. There are plenty of easily-accessible spots throughout the park, and it is a popular walking and hiking destination for local residents.
Our first geocache location choice was too close to an existing geocache, so we had to find a different spot. This location is easy to find if you hunt around the trail leading to NE 166th St. You can get a clear GPS signal from the main Hamlin park trailhead at the Northern entrance. Plus, there are permanent orienteering markers throughout the park that can be used as reference point. This geocache is approx. 20 feet from the #16 red and white orienteering marker, just up the trail leading to NE 166th St.
