Below The Stones Traditional Cache

Cache is a medium sized clip box hidden amongst rocks.  The path is part of a circular walk known locally as “The seven farms walk”.  The path is used by dog walkers, hill walkers and wimberry pickers.  The path can be accessed from behind Dol Y Garn Terrace in Cwmcelyn.  This street has very limited parking so I advise against cachers from parking here.  The cache is not suitable for wheel chair users.

The cache is located within a small boulder field.  I have attached a spoiler photo to help locate the cache.  The cache location gives excellent views to the south, overlooking Cwmcelyn and Blaina.  North of the cache is a plataeu  which also gives excellent views of the area.  This is good route for accessing  the Mulfraen The cache contains a logbook and pen.

Risks:

The path can be slippery in damp conditions.  The cache is close to an old fence.  Close to the old fence are discarded pieces of barbed wire ( some old and some new).  The cache is suitable for children and dogs only under supervision.
