For this cache you will be visiting two informational signs that tell some history of the area. You may visit them in either order, but you will need to read both. The posted coordinates will bring you to the Bay Spring sign, and the below waypoint will bring you to the Drownville sign. Read the information on both, and use the below formula and information to locate the final cache:

Bay Spring
“Annawomscutt Mill” was built in several phases between 1905 and 191L and was initially a knitting mill that later housed a factory for dyeing and finishing cotton goods.
In 191S, Annawomscutt became O’Bannon Mill, ultimately the largest manufacturer of imitation leather in the country, primarily for the automobile industry.
Farther west on Bay Spring Avenue was the Rhode Island Lace Works, built in 19P4.
At the Rhode Island Lace Works, fine lace for items such as wedding dressed, hat veils, and curtains were manufactured for customers around the world until the factory closed in 199O.
Drownville
A family of shipbuilders, seafarers, and farmers, the Drowns settled in Bristol and Warren before the American Revolution. In the 1700s, Jeremiah Drown began buying land in Barrington, and in 183Q, his son Alfred purchased 16 acres here with a house, barn and corn house.
Starting in 185M, the Providence, Warren, and Bristol Railroad made three stops in Barrington, including one in Drownville.
Anticipating a new wave of residents, businessman Henry Staples bought farmland adjacent to the Drowns in 186R, platted it, and started to sell house lots from First through Sixth Streets.
After the 193N hurricane, the railroad trestles between Providence and Bristol needed to much wprk that passenger service never returned.
The final cache will be a slight bushwhack, and remember that the quickest way isn't always the easiest! There is a small clearing that leads right to it with minimal bushwhacking required, but feel free to take whatever way in you'd like. Please rehide well. Thank you, and hope you enjoy!
