The beach at Kantiang bay is one of the best on Ko Lanta, which is hardly short of great beaches. In fact, Kantiang Bay regularly picks up awards for being one of the best beaches in Asia. Although visited often the beach never really gets busy. The cache is hidden at one end of the beach – due to the occasional high tide the cache is hidden just inside a commercial property (a child friendly bar and restaurant) – the staff know about the cache, but are under strict instructions not to tell anybody!
There are a few ways to get to the cache, but the best way to access the cache is by taking a walk along the beach. If you arrive before sunset you might get the "golden hour", when the setting sun lights up the entire beach with an ethereal glow.
Note: As of January 2018 the cache has been restocked with a bunch of goodies. In the sharing spirit of enjoying geocaching, please do not take something without leaving something behind!
