Burr Oak Reservoir was created in 1951 after many years of planning, for flood control, by damming Sunday Creek and flooding over 600 acres of farm land. It was used as a water supply for nearby villages. Camping, fishing, swimming and boating are some of the many activities available. Central to the park is Burr Oak Lodge and Conference Center.
At the top of the hill before you go down to the Lodge is an overlook. Stop there to stretch your legs.
