The Lake Rotokare is New Zealands largest predator fenced wetlands area.
The area now has Kiwi introduced and other species that have been introduced. Both time latley as I have walked from the information area anti clockwise around the lake I have seen saddle back birds that have been introduced.
The cache is at the junction of rotokare track and ridgeline track not far from the sign post
The weather was terrible so coords could be a little bit out and further co ords will be helpful if it is more than 6m out.
