I LOVE FOOTBRIDGES!!! It's a quaint way, and sometimes the only way, to get from here to there. In my travels around Marin County I have always enjoyed the feeling when I encounter a footbridge. I began to make a list of ones very near where I live knowing that I would one day do a geocache series on them....and today's the day. I'd love to add to my footbridge series and so I welcome information/locations of footbridges that you have come across. Please email or message me the locations as opposed to logging them so as not to give it away prematurely. Thanks to my nephew Ben (listed as co-owner) who helped me get these first five geocaches put together during some insanely hot weather!
One of the disadvantages of the footbridge hide, that I anticipate, is the fact that often the bridge is located over water. I've tried to place the geocache so as to minimize the dropping of the cache into the water. Please be careful and supervise young children so I don't have to archive a geocache because it goes missing too frequently.
