Found on the outskirts of the village of Pashtuh, Nevestino, Kyustendil in Bulgaria.
Thanks to EU grant this tiny church has been restored to (something like) its former glory.
"St. Ivan" is a small, one-nave and one-apsid church with a narthex. The spacial design of the monument is typical for 15th - 17th centuries. What is particular about this design is the open narthex. So far it has been the only cross dome church of such type dating back to those times in western Bulgaria . The original frescoes have not been preserved.
The church is a cultural monument of national significance.
