Geocache Description:

Just another Downtown cache. Always use stealth here as it is a heavily used area . Watch out for some of the locals wondering the area or camping out on the grass close by. Please do not attempt to find if there are locals in the area. Once they see someone in an area they usually investigate when you leave. Lets see how long this cache lasts here. Don't worry about the coffee stand nearby as she is aware of the cache here.

Did you know that Alaska has more coffee stands than any other state! We need our CAFFEINE FIX!!!!!! Anchorage and Seattle are neck and neck as far as which city contains more coffee shops per capita. In 2005, Anchorage was ahead at 2.8 shops/1000 residents. In 2011 Seattle held the lead. Despite the best efforts of Kaladi Brothers (the Anchorage version of Starbucks), Alaskan free spirit keeps our number up due to roadside, drive-through coffee stands in nearly every available parking lot. Anchorage is second to Seattle for having the most coffee carts per capita, according to the National Coffee Association. That’s 189 coffee carts for all of Anchorage’s coffee lovers.
