Geocache Description:

This is our first multi cache in a series of caches based on the current craze sweeping the globe, Pokémon Go. Start at the given co-ords and proceed from there, the first PokéStop is not far away.

We advise that you download and use the smart phone application for Pokémon Go. The cache waypoints are found at 6 of the rural PokéStops in the Greytown/Woodside area. The description of each PokéStops is that described in the app. Having the app will make each location easy to find however it’s not absolutely necessary to have the Pokémon app as with a little bit of local knowledge you will be able to find each of the 6 waypoints that will allow you to progress to the final.

The final is a camouflaged Wild Bean mint container. This is a great game for the kids as they will be able to gather Pokémon treasure for their backpacks and score XP along the way. Unlike others planned in the series this multi will require you to drive or cycle as the total distance covered is approximately 10 km. The stops are listed below in reverse order (F-A) starting in the town and the final can be found on your way back from the last PokéStop (A).

The final coordinates are: S 41 04.ABC E 175 24. DEF

PokéStop : Governors Green. F =  the number of lighting posts in the immediate area.

PokéStop : Off the leash dog park. E and = the number of access gates to the dog park.

PokéStop : Pine Grove Heritage Homestead. D = the sum of the digits in the street number on the gate multiplied by 2, plus 1.

PokéStop : Rail Trail to Woodside Station 2.5km: C = the sum of the digits of the year the Greytown Trails Trust was established divided by 3.

PokéStop : Woodside Train Station. B =  the number of times the 6 appears on the yellow emergency call point which is located on the platform.

PokéStop : Greytown Historic Railway Station. A = the number of bolts in the foundations facing west minus 4.

Good luck team!

FTF honours go to -gonefishing-, SAROC, boxhill and Yeetrees
