Staying in Longyearbyen for five nights we'd like to spend our time mainly geocaching, taking photos, and hopefully even catching Northern Lights. We wonder if other geocachers are around at this time as well
and offer to meet on
Tuesday, October 18th, from 7 pm to at least 8 pm
in the Funken Bar, that is located inside the Spitsbergen Hotel
We propose focussing on the question how geocachers can cope with polar bears in and around Longyearbyen. Which spots are more likely to be visited by bears than others? Where can we presumably go without being eaten by them?
Besides we are of course free to discuss other geocaching related stuff, trading off trackables,
and simply chat. We look forward to meeting you!
