Geocache Description:

Built in the 1840s, this system of locks and dams on the Muskingum River helped open the state to trade and development. The Muskingum River Historical District extends 112 miles through southeastern Ohio, and serves the needs of more than 7000 recreational boaters each year who come to fish, picnic and play on the river. The Muskingum River is the longest continually navigable river traversing Ohio.

This is fourth in the series. The first 100 people to complete the series can collect a souvenir coin from the Morgan County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
