La diga di Montespluga (1.908m s.l.m.), presso l'abitato di Stuetta, forma l'omonimo lago, e fu costruita nel 1931.
La superficie del bacino imbrifero, che si sviluppa ad una quota media di 2.550 m sul livello del mare, è di circa 26,8 km2. Utilizza l'acqua del torrente Liro accumulata, tramite due dighe, nel lago di Montespluga della capacità di circa 32 milioni di metri cubi. La centrale può produrre annualmente circa 54 milioni di kWh, e l'acqua utilizzata è scaricata direttamente nel lago artificiale della diga di Isolato* (conosciuta anche come diga di Isola).

Durante l'estate c'è una discreta presenza di persone, usate cautela.
In inverno questa zona non è raggiungibile in auto. La Stuetta è generalmente libera da neve da aprile a novembre.
Il 3 luglio 2025 ho dovuto effettuare un ripristino della cache (sparita) e del listing dato che anche gli indizi erano in parte non più esistenti. Dunque mi sono affidato ad alcuni numeri che trovate alle coordinate di partenza sulla casa cantoniera.

The Montespluga dam (1.908m s.l.m.), near the hamlet of Stuetta, was built in 1931.
The surface of the catchment area, which extends at an average altitude of 2,550 m above sea level, is about 26.8 km2. It uses the water of the river Liro accumulated through two dams on the Lake Montespluga of about 32 million cubic meters capacity. The plant can produce annually about 54 million kWh, and the water used is discharged directly into the artificial lake of the Isolato dam* (also known as Isola dam).

During the summer there is a fair number of tourists around GZ, please use stealth.
In winter this area is not accessible by car. The Stuetta is generally free from snow from April to November.
On July 3, 2025 the cache has been maintained (it was disappeared) and also the clues have changed, as the old ones were no more available. You can use the numbers you'll find on the old red road service house at the listing coordinates.
