We used to live in this area, over looking the lilypond. It is an area not well known, even to the locals.
Port Macquarie Landcare Group took on this area reclaiming it from the over growth & weeds as their 1st project. It has a wheel chair friendly board walk, with an observation area & seating. So sit back & rest, while watching the birds, reptiles & other animals that habitat this area.
There is a lot of tree cover, that may make this tricky to find.
