There used to be another cache located here (GC5JA33 - Waterfall), but it was archived some time ago, and we felt that the location was too good to remain cacheless.
The cache location can be accessed via several entry points & tracks, but our preferred entry point is from the bottom of Derna Crescent (S33° 45.738 E151° 15.438), from which it’s an easy 175 metre walk to GZ. Follow the main track down to the creek crossing (S33° 45.658 E151° 15.414), crossing over to the other bank where the large concrete covered metal pipes bridge the creek, and then follow the track that runs beside the creek all the way to GZ. Beware of slippery rocks and steep drops near, and around, GZ. Close supervision of younger geokids is strongly recommended.
The cache is a camouflaged 200 ml Sistema container, containing a log book, pencil, and geocaching information sheet (stash note). Please ensure the container is replaced deep into it's hidey hole, and that the rock is placed back in front of the container when replacing, to aid in the cache's longevity..
