Geocache Description:

This is No33 in a series of caches, some will be at sporting venues others may not.

The Brownlow Medal was formally Charles Brownlow Trophy.

It is a individual award given to a player who is judged to be the fairest and best player in the Australian

Football League during a regular season.

This is decided by votes by the officiating umpires after each game.

The Medal has been awarded every year since 1924 with the exception of an intermission from 1942 to 1945

due to World War 2.

Players are ineligible to win the Medal if they have been suspended for on field offences.

The 1965 Brownlow Medal was a two way tie,

They are Ian Stewart from the St Kilda [Saints] Football Team

and  Noel Teasdale from the North Melbourne [Kangaroos] Footbal Team.

They each had 20 votes.

The cache maybe difficult to get when sporting events are being held.

The cache is a small screw top container painted black, it contains log, pencil and a few swaps.

Please be aware of snakes in the warmer months.

Enjoy the cache.
