The EBBP NHL Series was first placed during the spring of 2014 and has seen many, many visitors in the few years it's been out. The plan was for each team in the NHL to be represented, and for a time, all 30 teams had caches named for them. But unfortunately some caches went missing or construction went up in the area and as a result, the Red Wings, Oilers, Senators and Lightning all did not have caches for them for at least some period of time. Nearly all available spots on the bike path near where the old caches were hidden have since been filled with other new hides, thus preventing them from being hidden again in redux form near their original location.
To make up for this loss, it seemed fitting to condense them all into one single cache. That's right, this cache is technically called "EBBP NHL Series - Red Wings, Oilers, Senators & Lightning." Unfortunately that name is far too long, and therefore initials of the cities the teams play in had to be used instead. As a result, all NHL teams technically have a cache named for them again! If any of them are archived in the future and a redux cache cannot be placed, their city initials will simply be tacked on to the title of this cache and their logo included below.
