This cache is placed in a beautiful park in Medicine Hat.
It will take you to the farm in Echo Dale Regional Park to view the displays there.
It is placed in conjunction with the Medicine Hat Tourism Energy Tour. To find out about this tour, stop at the Tourism Bureau Visitor Centre just off the Trans Canada Highwy.
The Park is open to the public from 7 am till 11pm, so your visit should be planned to coincide with the hours of operation.
There may be some encountering of the critters that inhabit the area, but if you stay on the paths from the farm parking area, you'll be able to avoid any dangerous plants.
It is a bit of hike up the hill, but it is well worth it to find out the history of the Coal Mining in this area.
