This cache is located in the farm portion of Echo Dale Park. The park is open to the public from 7am till 11 pm daily.
This cache is placed on an integral part of the farming operation of years past. You will have to make a small walk down hill (path behind the farmhouse) to see the item in question.
The pump house itself has been blocked off by some snow fencing so the original cache isn't available.
I have placed an alternate cache just outside the entrance. so look there!
Some information on the area. The cache Move that Coal relates to the coal mine that was active here in the past.
Besides having a coal mine in operation, there was also a farm here. The farmhouse and some of the outbuildings are here as well as a small petting zoo for the kids. You can also go to the beach area for a swim in the filtered and circulating outdoor pond, or go fishing in the pond at the east end of the park. Play structures for the kids and a concession stand are open during the Summer Months.
