Geocache Description:

Welcome to the John Powell Reserve Guilford, home of the Guildford Goats.

This cache is placed at the (relatively) newly constructed facilities that were openned for the reserve in 2011. An impressive shower block, sheltered grass area.

The John Powell Reserve is an important facility to Guildford, hosting the cricket club but also hosting a range of events through the year including accomodating campers for the MAEVIC  Steam Ralley in Autumn, and the Guildford Banjo Jamboree in September. Avoid this cache when these events are running, the oval is over-run with muggles.I'd also steer clear of it during the cricket season, when the men in white take advantage of a well kept turf pitch.

Parking is ample along Fryers Street.

Please BYO pen as the cache is a small one!.
