Geocache Description:

The cache is an easy to find small box with a logbook, bring your own pen.

Nieuwoudtville is a little town in the Northern Cape, known as the bulb capital of the world. Every year in flower season (august-october) thousands of people come to see the wild flowers, in a good year this is really spectacular. On the road to Calvinia you will find a nature reserve with magnificent flowers. On the road between Nieuwoudtville and Loeriesfontein you can have a look at a nice waterfall. There is a petrol station in Nieuwoudtville with a collection of oldtimers also.
