Caecilian Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Gat R Done: As there's been no cache to find for months and I have not heard back from you, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Please be advised that archiving is intended to be permanent. Help Center Article

Geocache Description:

This is the 2nd cache in the series "Animals You've Never Heard Of"!  This cache is big enough for some small swag and trackables, but not big enough for a pen, so BYOP.

Also try: GC66Y6T "Pyrruhuloxia" (1st cache in the series)

The Caecilans (pronouced seh-SILL-yens) are the only true legless amphibians.  They are found in Central and South America, as well as parts of Africa and Asia. They are wormlike in both texture and structure, and can grow anywhere from 4 inches to 5 feet long.  Caecilians main diet is composed of immature insects, earthworms, and other invertabrates.  Most caecilians live underground in burrows, using their pointy skulls to dig a network of tunnels.
