Geocache Description:

To celebrate the re-birth of challenge caches, I'm posting the first new one I've seen in a long while. Requirements are simple:

1) Log a cache in 20 different NY counties

2) Find this cache

3) Sign the log - voila!

The listed coordinates are correct. Strangely, I archived a cache at this location without realizing it. Yes, I am dumb. Consider this retribution, but really, consider it laziness. It gave me the opportunity to place my first "mystery" cache without having to find a new location. Note that since the Iggys most likely have no shot of the FTF, this will be the first cache within 100 miles that they don't end up with a FTF for. To make them feel a tad bit better, I have left them (or whomever finds it first, whether they qualify or not) a consolation prize at the cache. [Update: When this was initially posted, it was in a different location, however that was three weeks ago, right before I left the Country, and also right before NYA let me know that someone had reserved coordinates in the area...as things stand, that geocacher, presumably Earthman, since he's a jerk and also because he's the main placer in the area lately, still has not placed anything near my initial coords, but I've moved my placement to somewhere even less glorious in the hope that a much more awesome geocache will bloom. Only change is that my initial comment about having an earlier cache at the coordinates is now a lie, and also that the prize I left for Iggy is now wet, and also jammed into an uncomfortable location and has a much higher chance of muggling...otherwise, the final remains lame, but it's about the challenge cache, not the final, people!] Finally, and most important, a super special thank you to Tom Smith. Tom is amazing. I've said this before, but he is literally the nicest person ever. Whereas he spent way too much time helping me set this up (aka doing it for me after I was too dumb to follow his instructions to set it up), this is just more proof of his awesomeness. Note that regardless of how much I like you, reader, I like Tom more. That is, unless you are Tom. In which case, it's perhaps a tie. Perhaps not. You be the judge. Chuck Norris is the Tom Smith of everything, except that he's not as good as Tom Smith at each of the components of everything. Yeah I blew your mind? Not Tom Smith's. His mind blew the mind of that comment. And now, additional words to move the challenge graphic down, since I don't know how else to: Flibbidy dee flibbidy da, wham kapow. PGC Checker
