Join us on International Geocaching Day - Saturday, August 20th - for
Vermillion Vittles
Two things: 1) I messed up and forgot all about July's event, and 2) today is International Geocaching Day! How about a potluck picnic to celebrate today's festivities? Let's meet at the north shelter in Prentis Park around 11. We'll stay until at least 12.
In case you don't know how a potluck-style event works, each person or group who wants to eat should bring a food item to share with everyone else in attendence. For your thirst, it will be easiest to BYOB. Pro tip: post with your Will Attend what you plan on bringing so we don't end up with 20 bags of chips! We'll have the grill going, so grillable things are welcome. I'll bring hot dogs.
I'm planning to place several new caches before this day, so you certainly shouldn't be bored! 
We welcome all kinds of people, from new cachers to veteran cachers--even muggles who want to learn! If you're new to the cacher-community: stop on by, don't be shy! We can answer any questions you may have.
Oh! One more thing. I put in an order for nice weather; but in case it rains, snows, or does anything else unfavorable, we can change plans and meet at Burger King. I'll watch the forecast and send out announcements.
