The Series
This cache is one of a series offering a variety of "easy" puzzles. They are all (meant to be) puzzles that can be solved either using clues provided or online resources readily found using Google. The hides themselves are relatively easy – the key feature here is you are meant to use your energy on the puzzle, not the find.
In part, this series pays tribute to TR!'s "It's Puzzle Time" series, which is another great introduction to puzzle caches (thank you heaps, TR!).
Adder
Adders are any of a number of snakes from several families, most of which are venomous. The one thing in common amongst all types of adders is their inherent hatred of subtracters.
Enumerable Lists
An enumerable list makes an association between numbers and a list of words. An enumerable list like "Months of the Year" is readily understood: the association that "January" = 1, "February" = 2, "March" = 3, etc, is fairly universal in the English-speaking world. This list (and others like it) rely on two things: that there is a fixed order of words, and there is a clear lead (or "first") word.
Difficulties arise where there is no fixed agreement of order and/or lead word. For example, "Days of the Week" has the difficulty that there is no universal agreement as to whether "Sunday" or "Monday" is the first word in the list. Likewise, "Colours" has the difficulty of not having a fixed order (one could use the ROYGBIV order of the rainbow, but there is no agreement where "Pink" and "Brown" fit). In these cases, an order and/or lead must be explicitly specified.
