During the 1997-98 bowling season, our beloved mother bowled a 268 actual at this site. It was a glorious Spring day, and when she left....the sun was shining...the radio was playing her "rock and roll" and she ended up speeding (which, she never did). As a result of her lead foot...due to the excitement of the afternoon with her friends, she was pulled over by the police.
Mom: "Officer, what did I do??"
Officer: "You were speeding, ma'am."
Mom: "Oh my, I don't drive fast........but, well........I just bowled a 268 actual , and the sun is shinning and the rock and roll is on, and......well.....it's BRUCE!" (She loved her Springsteen).
Officer: (smiling) "Have a good day ma'am."
