this cache is only accessible when red flags are not flying (which is most of the time) however if you do see red flags flying please do not attempt to get the cache.
if parking at the national trust carpark Dovedale then cross the stepping stones .when you cross the stepping stones you will see a gate at the base of thorpe cloud. Walk up the valley on the left hand side of the hill then after the valley opens up into a field look up the ridge to your left and the cache is situated somewhere up there.
If parking at the Wintercroft lane car park go follow the sign that says 'public footpath to Dovedale' through the style and up the gravel tyre tracks and then down the slope about 50 meters. look to the ridge on your right the cache is somewhere up there.
watchout for the nettles and poo as shee frequent the cache site when sheltering from the elements
