Maintenance check today and decided it was time to archive it.

This cache has gone missing several times and is missing again. The city has also taken part of top of the phone booth off as they repaint the bus stop. The nearby construction is also limiting the sidewalk access so it is time to go.

Moving the container would defeat the theme since it is a disconnected phone booth.

Instead of replacing it, I have decided that it was time to go.

So this cache is done. Removed the container and the logbook.

Thanks for finding it and my other caches.
No new logs will be accepted since the container and logbook has been removed.

Geocache Description:

As culture develops and technology changes, these simple centers have largely fallen out of use. There are likely several reasons for this disuse. It could be due to economics, or environment changes, or something else entirely. But the most practical reason seems to be that people have their own. (Some people may have a portable one and others may have a wired one.)

Regardless of why, the fact remains that almost nobody uses one of these anymore.

But even if they wanted to, it's impossible. It has been disconnected.

Parking is available on nearby streets but not right by cache.

*** Note this is a pretty busy area with vehicle traffic. Keep a close eye on pets and children. Also watch out for buses that stop nearby.
