The meeting site is on the Zambia side of the border. At the time of this posting, citizens of either Zimbabwe or Zambia can visit this site for free. All others will need to check what the visa requirements are for them. For some coming from the Zimbabwe side, if you need a visa it can be purchased at the border check point. I cannot stress enough, please check what the visa requirements are for you. All nationalities are not treated equally when it comes to border controls.
Most of the hotels/lodges in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe are within a 30 minute walk of the event (also allow some time for border control). On the Zambia side, many of the hotels/lodges are in Livingstone which is about 10 km (6 mi.) away.
As of this posting, the bridge closes at 1800 hours (6 PM), so those from the Zimbabwe side wanting to find the virtual GCGZZ6 Victoria Falls, Zambia, should not linger too long after the event. The virtual is 0.37 km (0.23 mi.) away, but if you want to keep your feet dry the walk to it is a bit longer.
