Typical of most rural life, smaller communities have grown and are now disappearing, the Rice Lake community is no different. Today, this community is represented by a schoolhouse (overgrown by brush), a community hall (much in need of repair) and further east a cemetery. By putting a cache in this area we hope to perpetuate interest in the community. Cache contains log only.
