Old Loyalists Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Cache-tech: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Called "OLD LOYALIST BURYING GROUND" in this transcription made by The Charlotte County Branch of the New Brunswick Genealogical Society Corner of King and Prince of Wales Streets, St. Andrews This picturesque cemetery, situated at the head of King Street and surrounded by an iron fence, is the resting place of many of the founding Loyalists who came to St. Andrews. The land was given to the Church of England in 1794. The cemetery is currently maintained by the local Anglican Church. The earliest stone is 1788, possibly a reburial. Transcribed in 1996. You are looking for a small container. It contains a log only. Bring your own writing stick for this one. Be sure to take the time to explore here...
