Geocache Description:

This is a traditional cache comprising a small clip lock plastic box. Bring your own pen, cache contains a log only. Please ensure that the cache is replaced as found and well secreted to maintain its cover.

The cache is located in an accessible area of scrub and trees not far from the main pathway. The area is popular with dog walkers and cyclists so some stealth may be required at peak times. Additionally, the paths can get a little muddy in bad weather or after heavy rain so wear appropriate footwear. Please also beware of nettles and brambles if you choose to stray from the main pathways!

The Toad Hole is a local public space, maintained by Branston Parish Council. It is predominantly bushes, developing woodland, and scrub, and runs adjacent to the river Trent. The area is home to a variety of wildlife and work is ongoing to maintain the area as a natural habitat. If you walk right through the toad hole to the other end (5-10 minutes) you emerge at the bank of the river, along which you can walk for some distance and take in the scenery and water wildlife.

There isnt any formal parking nearby, you would need to park considerately on a residential side road, or on the main Burton Road. See additional waypoints.
