This is a new geocache from Geebs73. We are from the Netherlands and have been here to visit family. We did some geocaching while we were here, so we thought it seems to be nice to place a cache in the United States. My brother (in law) is going to take care of this cache. We call this cache "Oranje" which means orange and is a special color in the Netherlands. The street name van Lahr is also Dutch, so we feel right at home.
The Treetops of Anderson neighborhood was developed in the mid-1980s on a historical track of land in the Little Miami area of southeast Hamilton County, Ohio. The land was settled by Philip Turpin around 1795 from 1000 acres of land granted in the Crittenden Survey from the American Revolution. Today, Treetops includes 180 homes located in Anderson Township which has been named one of Cincinnati’s most desirable neighborhoods.
We hope that you have fun and find the Dutch item from this cache and there is space for trackables. We placed one and hope it will come home to the Netherlands at Geebs place in Zuidland.
