Geocache Description:

Early 1860s the Royal Engineers were commissioned to build a road from Yale to the Caribou Gold Rush  the road was completed in four years this section of road has seen many accidents rollovers rockslides and transport dumps of cargo  Ledgend has it that a railway tanker over turned here and fell into the river and the name of  Tank HIll Bluff may have some reference to this


scenic views from this pull off area  good access from either direction and very large parking area for transports and cars nice place to pull off and cool down
