The Lincoln-Woodstock area has a rich logging history. The Gordon Pond Railroad was built in 1905-07 by George L. Johnson in order to move timber to his sawmill in North Lincoln. It extended almost to Lost River. For more information, see “Gordon Pond Railroad” at http://www.whitemountainhistory.org/Gordon_Pond_Railroad.html
Quick park and grab. Not winter friendly. BYOP.
