Geocache Description:

Elder's Park is a great place to take a break from driving or to get regular exercise, About the title, this is a tribute to Chief Charlo, one of the great leaders and advocates of the Salish Nation, who brought his people on a "Trail of Tears" to the Mission Valley in the 1880's. His descendants still reside in the area, and the town of Charlo was named in his honor.

The location was picked out by my daughter. It should be easy to find for experienced cachers. FTF gets a genuine ceramic Native American art magnet. Small items for trade are welcome also. Please enjoy the area and the other great caches in the vicinity.
