In early summer 2016, local citizens of Gladstone took time to restore and beautify this loving tribute garden commemorating North Dakota's Centennial celebration in 1989.
On the left you will see the image of North Dakota's most lively golden songster of a state bird, the Western Meadowlark! Often in the morning, when the nearby traintracks are quiet, you might luck out to hear their beautiful song!
On the right, you will also see the delightfully beautiful state flower, the Wild Prarie Rose. Maybe if you are watchful in this tour of Gladstone, you may find some sitting in un-cut prarie grass!
The building nearby is the Gladstone Town hall. Council meetings are held every first Monday of the month at 7PM
