Geocache Description:

A rock diversion weir on Wallan Creek, with high flows being diverted in to the wetlands from the creek, a tributary of Merri Creek, as it flows through the town of Wallan, north of Melbourne.

The shared user path around the wetland links up existing path infrastructure and improves community recreation around the wetland. The wetland will improve the health of Wallan Creek, as well as enhance public open space and provide important habitat for frogs, birds, yabbies and other animals.

Constructed wetlands are designed to naturally filter stormwater. The Wallan Wetland is made up of a deeper sediment pond, two shallow vegetated wetland pools and a rock weir within Wallan Creek. The rock weir within Wallan Creek will divert a portion water into the sediment pond. The sediment pond is designed to slow the flow of the diverted water causing dissolved sediments such as silt and organic matter to fall to the bottom. The water then flows slowly through the wetland pools where tens of thousands of aquatic and semi-aquatic plants remove nitrogen and other pollutants through a natural biological process. Finally, after about 2-3 days the water will re-enter the creek cleaner and with less pollutants.

You are looking for a 450 ml sistema container with a tradeable. Co-ords recalculated accurately again using off-set waypoint averaging, so that should be accurate. The trees at GZ do interfere with the satellites tho, so use the hint to find it easily.
