Berry Creek Park is a nice city park with a playground, basketball court, and bathrooms. It has lots of shade and most of the time is not very crowded. One thing it didn't have, though, is a geocache! Tree cover plays with GPS signal so you might have to expand the search some. City parks are officially open only from dawn to dusk, so this is best done during the day to not bring attention to yourself.
