Cheetah or Lion Traditional Cache

There is much debate about whether these Bushmen paintings are lion or Cheetah. I will leave it for you to decide,  and let us know what you  think. They are worth a visit nevertheless as they are very well painted. Please do not touch the paintings as they are about 10 000 years old.

There are more paintings in this small area and caves with ancient grain bins, so take time to wonder around and explore this neglected area in Matopos

The cache is in the Matopos Recreational area, so an entrance fee will have to be paid. It is close to the Whitewaters dam area and the bottom entrance gate runs past this cache .There is a small road that leads off this road into a stand of Mopani trees that Viewers use to go and view this rock face with bushmen paintings.
