Geocache Description:

The cache is a small camouflaged snaplock container located near the Black Burn which runs through the Watergate park area. Access to the main part of Watergate park is via car parks situated near the top of Lobley Hill, but there is a smaller entrance which is closer to this cache. That entrance is on the A692 Gateshead Road where there is a set of traffic lights for pedestrians and horse riders. There are spaces for a max of 2 cars at that point. The cache has been placed to celebrate my 150th Cache find. The area is very popular with dog walkers and cyclists, so stealth may be needed when approaching the cache. There are several other caches in the area, and I hope mine improve the count and the caching experience for other people. When placed, the cache contained a log book and a pen, (but it is always sensible to carry a writing stick yourself in case this one goes missing). There is also a keyring and a dolphin pendant as well as a TB geocoin attached to a model car.
