Geocache Description:

All Saints church in the village of Teversham (just to the east of Cambridge airport) has an ancient beginning and is said to date back to c.910 AD. When the Domesday Book was written in 1086 Teversham was one of only a few churches listed for Cambridgeshire. The earliest parts of the present building date from the early 13th century. The cache is hidden within view of the church.

A Commonwealth War grave in the churchyard is not only for Private David Kester who very sadly died on 3 November 1918 at the age of 28, only 8 days before the Armistice, but also for his twin brother Private Alfred John Kester who died of wounds on Sept 27 1917 at the age of 27, and was actually buried at Longuenesse (St Omer) Souvenir Cemetery in France.
