Withybush Woods has a lovely cicular walk of about a mile along a tarmac path, which goes round a small lake. A family of Swans, along with numerous ducks and a Heron live on the lake, which is where the name of the cache comes from. This is a popular area for dog walking and for young families who like to feed the Swans and ducks. The path is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs all the way round.
The woods are managed by Pembrokeshire County Council and they are in the middle of a regeneration project, thinning out the underbrush and replanting shrubs and trees, making it a rather nice, although relatively unknown, area.
The cache is a camoflaged clip lock box with swappables hidden off to the side of the footpath. It can't be reached by wheelchair or pushchair, but is suitable for children to get to, although the approach may be muddy after rain. You will need a pen to sign the log.
