Stopping By Cache on a Summer Day
Whose cache I seek I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
Hoping to sign before I go.
My little Garmin must think it queer
To stop without a cache too near
Between the woods and empty lake
The hottest day of the year.
It vibrates to see if I’m awake
To see if there is some mistake.
The only sound is its beep.
I cannot find it and thus I bake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have waypoints to keep,
And caches to find before I sleep,
