The Bird Hide location is a must see stop on the self guided tour. All the information on birdlife is located within the structure. The Marrambidya Wetland will become an important place for the community of Wagga Wagga for passive recreation, education, ecological restoration, and reconciliation.
Things to see and do :
Three ephemeral wetland ponds covering 6ha River Red Gum . A regeneration area Field studies area ,a Covered outdoor learning area with seating,a Traditional dance ring, Bush tucker garden, Demonstration camp site and Healing Place commemorating Apology Day, Access to the Murrumbidgee River and Wiradjuri Walking Track ,an Elevated viewing platform ,Bird watching, Picnic Walking tracks and a Self guided site tour.
The cache is not located within the bird hide.
