Fishing Boats of Cyprus....Peyia Traditional Cache

A number of villages within the Paphos district have started utilising old fishing boats to add interest and draw attention to their locality .

We thought we would like to create a series of caches to lead you to these places.

We are starting with four, but will add others as and when we discover them.

None of the caches are located on or around the boats themselves, usually within about 20 - 30 mts.

This is the first in the series and nearest to our home. There is parking space adjacent to the location and a handy bench for log signing.

A piece of waste ground has been transformed by just adding some grass, stones and plants...and of course the boat.

This is a very busy junction so watch out for traffic.

The cache is a jar containing initially a log book, keyring, marble, clothes peg, smiley face and a small memo magnet for the FTF.

Please bring your own pen and replace exactly as found.

Hopefully the boat will return shortly ???
