Geocache Description:

A cache that is in plain view. not recommended that you do this in the dark

This cache is part of a series of caches which are placed at or near village halls and community centres. This is a series which other cachers can add to and expand into other geographical areas. See the bookmark list for all the caches in the series.

I have had many fun evenings in this old village hall when I was younger. 

The hall was built-in 1896 and for over 100 years the old Village Hall in the centre of the village was much loved and much used by the Community. As the years rolled on, the building, and particularly its kitchen and toilets, was showing signs of old age and needing refurbishment. The hall’s Management Committee recognised this and attempted to raise funds to address these issues but after much debate and consultation it became clear that a new build was the answer. The new bigger hall was built at the edge of the village. In 2014 the old hall became a art gallery/ tea room for local artists to show their works of arts.

 

The owners know that the cache is here and if you cannot find it ask them for a better hint.
