I thought it was time that we as a group held a CITO event on the Ohio side of the border and what better place than on the Mill Creek Bike Trail. The Mill Creek Metro Parks have been very kind to us cachers over the years and it is time we gave back to them.
At noon we will meet at the Mahoning Avenue Trail Head parking lot where bags and instructions will be given out. Please feel free to bring gloves and or trash sticks. Following this we will divide up into several groups picking up trash along the trail in both directions. Feel free to bring your bike, if you want to CITO further down the trail. If enough people show up, we can also send a group to the Niles and Canfield trailheads as well. We will meet back at the Mahoning trail head parking lot at 2:30 for a group photo.
Following the photo we will head next door to Paladin Brewery for a potluck cook out, . PharaohQueen and I will provide the water, hotdogs, and buns. The brewery has several grills on site so if you would like something else for the main course you are more than welcome to bring it with you. They have soda and water available to purchase at the brewery. Additionally they are having their family appreciation day so there will be pony rides and a petting zoo for kids.
