Geocache Description:

I have hiked up to Red Hill Firetower many times and have done some exploring in Sheridan Woods but often wondered if there was a way that the two trails connected. There have been snowmobile trails that seem to connect the two areas but never hiked along them. Recently Lakes Region Conservation Trust has created some new trails in the area and so Gloves47, Ravengal, and I took a long walk and decided to hide some new caches in this area.

You can get to this cache from two different directions. If you come in from the Red Hill Parking, you will go up the main trail, then go up the new Cabin Trail, and finally take a right on the snowmobile trail.  If you decide to come in from Sheridan Woods, you will pass quite a few other caches and eventually come to a junction with a sign called Red Hill Trail, take that trail to the cache. I think that both approaches are about the same distance. The cache is a camouflaged film canister.  Enjoy exploring this beautiful area!

Congratulations to Geibfamily for FTF!!
